Gilmour & Dean celebrated its 160th Anniversary during 2006.

The core values enshrined in our culture and behaviour since inception that we hold very dear are INTEGRITY – WISDOM – HONESTY. These qualities attributed to the mythical creature the UNICORN, which adorns the company's logo, chosen by one of the founders Alexander Davidson Dean.
